in which you live, your country, your location within the world –
these you can’t necessarily ‘change’ – but there
is also how you think + feel about all of these things
and this you have control over and the ability to change.
perhaps its the geography of how you think and feel – the extents
and the limits of your ability
to interpret/express these through your artistic imagination.

a "geografia affectiva"
becomes interesting to me when it can morph into a tool that reveals and
works to correct
the psychological damage caused by migration and displacement. a tool that
can be adopted and shaped by users
(maybe workers with families in other countries, lovers separated by political
borders and visa restrictions, activists
who want to mobilize a group of colleagues in a particular region for an
action, etc), individuals in realities where this
form of visualized communication can provide important content, emotional
or otherwise. thinking about the designated
user is so important in my mind because it confronts issues of access to
technology, sites where the interface will
to be situated, but will also alter the entire shape of the prototype.

Your city will always follow you. You will roam the same

in these same houses you will grow gray.

- landscape ? – relation
with people ?
affective geogragraphy means for me, as a network of friends move, as places
where
you like spend some time (library, cinema, shops, parks) and point of view
of landscape.
without the best, on the web, I think it’s possible to make a real
network of faces memory.

meet someone who remind something….
he seen his face on a friend’s network memory bank. friend by friend,
your affective network is growing !

G. A. ?

i remember all these maps and
i'm asking myself how geography could be affective. it
reminds me of jerusalem, the city of blood and of israel where a lot of
people are
willing to fight for land. geography contains a lot in it, what exactly
are you talking
about ? about countrys, about land ? i never thought about this two terms
together.

personas.
